This is a new position.
ivari is seeking a high‑performing Senior Business Systems Specialist to provide the coordination support in delivering new product launches and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial, actuarial and other interface data flows across the organization.
This position requires a high level of independence, strong business and systems analysis expertise, documentation and presentation skills, proven ability to collaborate and work across Product, Pricing, Finance, Actuarial, other business units, BI, IT, and external vendor DXC in a complex, regulated environment, to support feasibility studies, product specifications, resolve high‑impact issues and deliver results

Provide senior‑level business systems analysis for policy administration, interface feeds, accounting‑related systems to support the ivari new Products launch

Analyze and trace end‑to‑end data flows from source systems through downstream reporting and analytics

Partner with Finance and Actuarial teams to support accounting data interpretation, reconciliations, and issue resolution

Translate complex business, accounting, and regulatory requirements into clear system, data, and process impacts

Participate in system enhancements, issue resolution, testing, and deployment validation
-
Proactively assess risk, dependencies, and downstream impacts of system and data changes before they reach production

Support Finance‑critical data flows (such as the end-to-end upload of GL Entries)

Support Compliance reporting and controls (such as the Advisor @ Glance report or Compliance Risk Matrix reports)

Design and support solutions leveraging cloud platforms and services (e.g., Azure, Assure Cloud, Saas Environments)
What we are looking for…

Post secondary education.
-
Business and systems experience within an insurance or financial services organization
-
Strong understanding of insurance products and pricing concepts
-
Demonstrated experience working with system‑generated financial or policy data
-
Proven ability to analyze complex problems and drive solutions independently

Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technology teams
-
Strong collaborative skills with IT, business teams and vendors.

Experience with Lifetrax or similar policy administration systems such as Ingenium.

Hands‑on experience with analytics or reporting platforms (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Fabric, Azure)

Familiarity with audit, control, or regulatory reporting processes

Familiarity with the Agile Software development cycle

Experience supporting system transformations, migrations, or major releases

Advanced business and systems analysis capability

Strong end‑to‑end systems and data mindset

Confident, clear, and professional stakeholder communication

High awareness of risk, controls, and downstream impacts

Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and decision‑making judgment
