Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations at our busy restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food service, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure exceptional customer service, food quality, and operational efficiency. Previous experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or the food industry is highly valued, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and team performance.
Duties
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Supervise staff including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating team members.
- Utilize POS systems such as Touch Bistro POS for cash handling and order processing.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Work with the Executive Chef and team to ensure food is served in a timely manner.
- Lead by example in hospitality, serving guests when necessary and maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Enforce health and safety regulations.
- Support promotional activities and special events within the restaurant.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food service or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Experience with POS systems such as Touch Bistro POS or similar platforms.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
- Ability to manage cash handling accurately and efficiently.
- Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
