Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver goods efficiently and on time. This role requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and excellent driving skills. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting and long hours on the road, ensuring that deliveries are completed accurately and securely.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks and commercial vehicles to transport goods between locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload cargo, often requiring heavy lifting, while ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle maintenance records, and delivery documentation
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents promptly to management for immediate action
Experience
- Proven experience driving heavy trucks or commercial vehicles is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting and vehicle operation is essential
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools is advantageous

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
