Overview
We are seeking a caring and responsible Nanny to provide attentive childcare and support in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a safe, engaging, and positive atmosphere for children of various ages. Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote development and learning
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
- Assist with daily routines including bathing, dressing, and nap times
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including light housekeeping tasks related to children’s belongings and play areas
- Support children with educational activities, homework, and developmental exercises
- Provide care and companionship for children with special needs or disabilities as required
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during activities and outings
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, needs, and any concerns
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children, including infants or toddlers preferred
- Ability to cook healthy meals and prepare snacks for children
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude
- Ability to perform light cleaning related to childcare duties
- Teaching or educational experience is advantageous
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required; training may be provided for the right candidate
