We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable professional to join our Finance Department to work within our Winnipeg Office.
As an Accounts Receivable professional, you will be responsible for processing customer invoices and ensure timely and accurate collection of payments from customers. What You'll Do
- Process Canadian, U.S. and International customer invoices
- Process commercial customer invoices
- Prepare aging analysis and follow up on overdue invoices
- Prepare bank deposits
- Complete month-end accruals
- Prepare monthly sales reporting
- Prepare month-end account reconciliations
- Liaise with internal and external customers
- Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing and record systems
Who You Are
- A self-motivated individual with the capability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work with minimum supervision.
- A highly adaptable, analytical and process-orientated individual with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Someone who is organized, self-motivated, and possesses strong time management skills
What You'll Bring
- 3 - 5 years accounts receivable experience in a computerized accounting environment.
- Knowledge of general accounting and accounts receivable procedures.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically an intermediate expertise in Excel.
- Post-secondary education in accounting and/or experience with accounting within a high-volume manufacturing environment would be an asset.
