Summary of Job-Related Responsibilities:
We are looking for an Electrical Project Coordinator to support our Overhead Crane Division. This person will be responsible for the project oversight on all electrical crane projects. Support and assist the Project Managers in coordinating and managing multiple projects simultaneously, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and development of all Electrical Projects. Experience with Overhead Crane is not required but would be preferred.

Education: Completion of 2 to 3 years college program in electrical or electronic engineering technology

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

CET, EIT, or equivalent skills and experience in the Electrical Discipline

Understanding of Electrical System Design

People Management Skills
-
2-3 years of experience in a similar setting
Scope of Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Development of electrical drawings
-
Determine the detailed design criteria, specifications, guidelines, standards, and best practices for electrical systems as required
-
Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements
-
Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports
-
Write specifications
-
Developing and tracking project budgets and schedules
-
Forecasting and coordinating internal and external project resources
-
Tracking internal quality control documentation
-
Preparing meeting minutes and contributing to project deliverables
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date shop drawings, track the status of RFIs, and changes
-
Ensure that all employees are following company policies and procedures
-
Liaising with clients
-
Travel to client sites as required
-
Maintaining professional customer relationships
-
Other duties as required by the position

Experience with Tekla and Powerfab would be an asset

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Rate: $37 per hour

Overtime: Eligible for overtime pay in accordance with provincial labour standards
