Staff Plus is currently hiring General Labourers for a manufacturing project. This role involves outdoor work and requires candidates who are comfortable working outside, including in warm weather and direct sun.
The successful candidate will assist with re-stacking, inspecting, labelling, organizing, and handling products in a safe and efficient manner.
Job Type: Full-time - Contract until project completion
Location: Ingersoll, ON
Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday to Thursday)
What You'll Do:
- Re-stack products as directed by the supervisor
- Inspect parts and packaging for damage or defects before re-stacking
- Label boxes and products according to company standards
- Handle products carefully to prevent damage
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety, quality, and production procedures at all times
- Assist with other manufacturing tasks as required, including sanitation, moving and organizing materials, stacking products, and loading/offloading materials
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year of previous manufacturing experience required
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and under the sun
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 55 lbs independently
- Must be comfortable completing various manufacturing and general labour tasks as assigned
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full-time hours as required by the position
