We are a 800 sow farrow to finish swine operation producing pigs for a niche market on multiple sites. We are looking for an experienced person to become part of our team.
You will be expected to be able to work independently and cooperatively with existing staff.
Duties may include all aspects of barn chores. The focus of this role will be breeding, feeding, barn repairs and maintenence. Pressure washing and piglet processing will also be required
Skills and Qualifications:
- A strong desire to achieve excellent results
- Strong communication, time management and organizational skills
- A valid drivers license
- A resident of Canada
We are flexible with the role of the right candidate based on their experiences and needs.
This job is a five days per week job (Tuesday to Saturday), with some weeks being six days to cover holidays.
Wage is based upon experience and qualifications.
