Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Route Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves managing daily sales routes, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the efficient delivery of products. Duties
- Safely operate a 16 foot box truck (no special license required)
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions, and address concerns
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Merchandize products on store shelves according to company standards
- Manage inventory levels, including pricing adjustments and stock replenishment
- Maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries, and customer interactions
- Perform heavy lifting when loading and unloading products
- Organize daily route schedules for efficiency and timely deliveries
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all activities
Skills
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and promote products effectively
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to foster positive relationships
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and store presentation standards
- Basic math skills for handling pricing, inventory counts, and sales transactions
- Strong organizational skills to plan routes efficiently and manage time effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more) as required by the role
- Good problem-solving abilities for handling unforeseen issues during deliveries or customer interactions
