Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Quick Service Attendant to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food service, possess strong multitasking skills, and have a keen eye for sanitation and food safety. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the food industry while developing essential skills such as POS operation, cash handling, and upselling techniques.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Operate POS systems for order processing and payment transactions
- Handle cash accurately and perform cashiering duties with professionalism
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food handling and basic kitchen tasks as needed
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Follow all restaurant policies related to serving, sanitation, and safety protocols
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and communication
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous but not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
