Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Panel Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical panels and systems within a fast-paced production environment. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical wiring, schematics, and mechanical assembly, with the ability to work efficiently using various hand and power tools. The technician will play a critical part in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, wire, and install electrical panels according to schematics and technical specifications
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to perform precise assembly tasks
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and parts used
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards during all installation and maintenance activities
Experience
- Proven experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in a manufacturing setting
- Previous experience assembling and wiring panels REQUIRED
- Strong electrical experience including wiring, schematics reading, and troubleshooting control systems
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly, machining, and use of hand tools
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and industrial equipment maintenance
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
