Mother-ease is a well-established cloth diaper manufacturer located in St. Catharines. We are looking for experienced sewing machine operators or seamstresses to join our production team.
This is a steady daytime position in a clean, supportive manufacturing environment producing high-quality textile products using knit fabrics.
Full time and part time positions available (full time preferred)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
No weekends or holidays
Responsibilities:
Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble textile products
Follow production patterns and quality standards
Maintain consistent stitching quality and efficiency
Work as part of a small production team
Sewing Machines
Applicants must have experience using industrial sewing machines such as:
- Single needle straight stitch
- 3 and 4 thread serger
Bonus if the applicant also has experience with these additional industrial sewing machines:
- Zig zag
- Single needle walking foot
- Coverstitch (Collerette)
Requirements
Previous industrial sewing experience required
Basic English communication skills required for training and production instructions
Strong attention to detail and consistent stitching quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
