Parksville Dental is a brand new, privately-owned dental practice located across from the Oceanside Health Center in beautiful Parksville, BC. We are now looking for an experienced Dental Hygienist, who has a passion for patient-centred care, to work alongside our highly experienced Dentist. The ideal candidate will have excellent relational, clinical, time management, and diagnostic skills, and must be committed to ongoing learning, improvement, and change. It is critical that you see yourself as a leader and team player, as you will be actively involved with the Dentist whose focus at each patient visit is to effectively communicate and educate the patient regarding their unique needs.
The hygiene team will be given ample time for each appointment: 80 minutes for routine hygiene/recall appointments and 2 hours for new patient hygiene appointments.
Guided Biofilm Therapy with EMS training will be in place for the right candidate. Qualifications:
Licensed Dental Hygienist with Local Anesthetic (proof of valid BCCOHP registration required)
3 years minimum experience as a Dental Hygienist
Periodontal Experience an asset
Guided Biofilm Therapy (EMS) knowledge an asset. Training will be provided.
