We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy treatments tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and other modalities
- Conduct client consultations to assess health history and specific concerns
- Maintain detailed treatment records and document client progress
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommended follow-up treatments
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health regulations
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain effective communication with clients before and after sessions
- Stay informed about new techniques, industry standards, and best practices in massage therapy
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with state or local regulations
- Prior experience providing massage therapy services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for new graduates
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to client health assessments is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client concerns effectively
