Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent and Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This dual-role position involves providing exceptional guest services during evening hours and ensuring the smooth operation of front desk activities overnight. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing our ability to serve diverse guests. This role is vital in creating a positive guest experience and maintaining the hotel's reputation for outstanding hospitality.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, check-in, and check-out, ensuring a seamless guest experience
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests with professionalism and courtesy
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to guests
- Handle guest complaints or issues promptly, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Maintain detailed records of guest transactions and reservations using hotel management software
- Perform night audit procedures, including balancing accounts, preparing reports, and reconciling daily financial transactions
- Ensure the safety and security of guests by monitoring the premises during night hours
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence as needed
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism at the front desk area
Experience
- Previous experience in front desk operations or hotel reception is preferred; knowledge of the Opera PMS system is a bonus. Training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and guest service software is advantageous
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve diverse clientele
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and hotel procedures is a plus
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
Pay: $17.22 per hour
