Deliver Exceptional Experiences in a Premier Private Club Setting
St. Andrew's East is seeking enthusiastic, professional, and service-focused individuals to join our Food & Beverage team. We are looking for team members who are passionate about hospitality and take pride in creating memorable experiences for our members and their guests.
As a Server, you will play an important role in delivering warm, attentive, and personalized service throughout our clubhouse dining rooms, patio, lounge, member events, and special member functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional food and beverage service with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Welcome members and guests with a warm, friendly, and engaging attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) system.
- Serve meals and beverages according to private club service standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining environment.
- Assist with the setup and teardown of dining rooms, patios, and special events.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary and service teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Anticipate members' needs and exceed expectations through personalized service.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills, ensuring timely service for all guests
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Follow all health, safety, and Smart Serve regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in a restaurant, private club, hotel, or hospitality environment is considered an asset.
- Valid Smart Serve Certification (or willingness to obtain prior to employment).
- Valid Food Handlers Certification (required to work on Halfway shifts)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Professional appearance and commitment to exceptional guest service.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.
