Mission Carrier is a family-run, asset-based carrier in Dorval, QC, and we're looking for a reliable, experienced Class 1 City Driver to join our local operations team. This is steady local work — home every night — running city and surrounding-area deliveries in well-maintained equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 trucks for local pickups and deliveries
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep your equipment safe and compliant
- Secure and handle freight properly to prevent damage
- Complete deliveries on schedule and keep accurate logs (delivery times, mileage, fuel, etc.)
- Communicate clearly with dispatch on routes, delays, or any issues that come up
- Report mechanical or safety concerns promptly so we can keep you rolling
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 (AZ) license
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience
- Clean driving abstract
- Strong understanding of safe freight handling and securement
- Ability to perform basic vehicle checks and inspections
- Good time management, organization, and attention to detail
- Professional attitude with strong communication and customer service skills
