About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Logistics Coordinator to support daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for coordinating freight, processing orders, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring on-time deliveries in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Customer Service, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining company safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily picking, shipping, and receiving activities
- Monitor and print work orders to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Review and verify all scheduled shipments and pickups
- Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and shipping documents
- Book trucks and coordinate LTL/FTL shipments and 3PL deliveries
- Schedule receiving and delivery appointments
- Ensure orders are accurately picked and entered into RF scanners
- Communicate with Production, Supply Chain, and Customer Service regarding order status, changes, and outstanding products
- Maintain accurate records and complete daily operational reports
- Support inventory flow and warehouse coordination activities
- Follow company quality procedures and participate in audits as required
- Ensure compliance with Ontario Health & Safety standards and maintain a safe work environment
- Report safety concerns or incidents promptly
- Participate in team and operational meetings
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, traffic coordination, or warehouse distribution
- Experience booking trucks and coordinating LTL/FTL shipments
- Experience working with carriers, brokers, and logistics providers
- Strong RF scanner and computer skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Canadian shipping regions and transportation operations is an asset
- Shipping/Receiving or customer service experience preferred

Pay: $19.99 per hour
