Grocery Clerk (Part-time)
Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Part-time Grocery Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily store functions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Duties
- Assist customers by answering questions, locating products, and providing friendly service
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure products are properly displayed according to merchandising standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the store, including aisles and restrooms
- Perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure store equipment and facilities are in good condition
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain store appearance
- Capable of performing cleaning duties to uphold store hygiene standards
- Good physical condition to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
Pay: $18.25 per hour
