Main objective of the role:
- Responsible for providing support for the preparation and packaging of our products.
Main responsibilities:
- Preparation and packaging of domestic orders for pick-up and delivery
- Maintaining Liquide Nitrogen Levels in tanks
- Provide support for shipping and receiving, including tracking all shipments
- Handling semen straws stored in liquid nitrogen tanks
- Unload the products that arrive in our warehouse
- Ensure the accuracy of electronic inventory tracking
- General organization and cleaning of the warehouse
- Prepare product and supply commands as needed
- Perform any other task that can be assigned
Essential skills and abilities:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse is an asset
- Ability to work alone or with little supervision
- Ability to work in a cold environment
- Ability to move loads up to 120 lbs/55kg, lift up to 70 lbs/32kg, with assistance
- Being able to stand for long periods of time
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word et Excel)
- Given the nature of this position, the ideal candidate will be able to work diligently and have a sense of initiative, while being open to learning the many aspects of our distribution system. Post-secondary education will be preferable.
