Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food service environments. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing guests with an exceptional dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Squirrel
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained in all aspects of service
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout shifts
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and positive reviews
- Must be available evenings and weekends
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and basic math for handling bills and payments
- Experience in food handling, serving, or hospitality roles demonstrates readiness for this position
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
