Job Description:
As an Interior Painter on our drywall team, you will be responsible for preparing and painting drywall surfaces to a professional standard. You will work closely with our installers and finishers to ensure smooth, clean, and precise finishes that meet project specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare drywall surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and repairing minor imperfections
- Apply paint, primer, and other finishes to interior walls and ceilings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Collaborate with the drywall team to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Touch up and correct paint imperfections as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a construction painter, preferably with drywall
- Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read and follow project plans and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel and lift materials
- Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Valid driver's license is an asset, especially for jobs across Whitehorse and surrounding areas
Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
