Job Summary
We are seeking motivated Helpers-Exploration Drilling to join our team. This role involves assisting with the setup, operation, and maintenance of exploration drilling equipment in a dynamic construction and oil & gas environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, safety-conscious, and possess a strong work ethic. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exploration drilling industry while supporting ongoing projects.
We offer overtime after 44hrs-week, paid every 2-weeks, medical plan, retirement plan, clothing allowance, out of town motels-meal allowance paid and lots of work!
Responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly, disassembly, and operation of drilling equipment and tools
- Support the drilling team in setting up and maintaining drill sites
- Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of machinery
- Help with material handling, including loading and unloading supplies using forklifts or other equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures on-site
- Support with transportation of equipment and materials around the site as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of drilling operations
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with industrial equipment is preferred
- Construction experience or background in oil & gas industries is a plus
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is advantageous
- Commercial driving experience or a valid driver’s license is beneficial
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques is a plus but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
- Strong teamwork skills, safety awareness, and willingness to learn new skills
- Prior experience in exploration drilling or related fields is desirable but not mandatory
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
