Key Responsibilities
Monitor entrance and exit points to ensure safety and adherence to regulations.
Conduct checks of guests' identification to verify age and prevent prohibited items from entering.
Make fair and informed decisions regarding guest entry to maintain a safe environment.
Manage crowd control during busy hours to prevent overcrowding and maintain order.
Respond quickly and professionally to incidents or disturbances and help de-escalate situations.
Work with law enforcement when needed and assist in emergencies.
Help implement loss prevention measures to protect property and guests.
Interact with guests with professionalism and a friendly attitude to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred.
Strong observational skills and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Physical fitness is essential, as the role may require standing for long periods and responding quickly to incidents.
Must be at least 19 years old and possess a valid security guard license, valid First Aid and CPR. Must also possess a valid Smart Serve.
