Prairie Surgical is a fully accredited community-based surgical and endoscopy centre in South Winnipeg. As we continue to expand our gastrointestinal services, we are looking for a Registered Clinical Psychologist with an interest or experience in Disorders of Gut–Brain Interaction (DGBI), including Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), functional GI disorders, chronic abdominal pain, anxiety-related gastrointestinal conditions, and other brain–gut disorders.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced Gastroenterologists, General Surgeons, Endoscopy Nurses, Dietitians, and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative outpatient setting.
Position
- Clinical Psychologist
- Full-time or Part-time

Responsibilities
- Assess and provide psychological treatment for patients with disorders of gut–brain interaction.
- Deliver evidence-based therapies, including CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and other appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with Gastroenterologists, referring physicians, and allied health professionals.
- Contribute to the development of Prairie Surgical's Brain–Gut Health Program.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology.
- Registered (or eligible for registration) with the Psychological Association of Manitoba (PAM).
- Eligible for independent practice in Manitoba.
- Experience or interest in health psychology, behavioural medicine, chronic pain, psychosomatic medicine, or gastrointestinal disorders is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
Compensation
- Fee-for-service or salary arrangement (negotiable).

Licence/Certification
