Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated <PERSON> to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of construction, including carpentry, concrete finishing, siding, and the operation of heavy equipment. This role involves working on diverse projects that require technical expertise, attention to detail, and physical stamina. The <PERSON> will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of building, repair, and restoration projects with a focus on quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project requirements.
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks with precision.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Install siding, perform carpentry work, and assist with woodworking projects as needed.
- Conduct restoration work including structural repairs and surface treatments.
- Use welding techniques to join metal components when required.
- Assist with the operation of heavy machinery for lifting and moving materials.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, concrete finishing, siding installation, or restoration.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols and procedures.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in demanding environments for extended periods.
- Experience with woodworking and concrete forming is highly desirable.
- Valid experience in operating heavy equipment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Construction experience combined with a strong work ethic is essential for success in this role.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
