Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Skilled Laborer to join our fast growing production team on our weekend shift, this shifts comes with shift premiums. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks that support project completion, including preparation, material handling, and equipment operation. This role offers opportunities to develop technical skills in welding / fabrication and contribute to diverse projects in a dynamic work environment. Candidates should be committed to safety, quality workmanship, and efficiency.
Duties
- Assist with preparation, including clearing debris and setting up work areas
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively to perform construction or maintenance tasks
- Load, unload, and organize materials and supplies needed for projects
- Assist with insulation installation, drywall installation, paint prep, wall liner installation.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Support project supervisors in executing various tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, metal fab, or related manual labor roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to construction sites or industrial settings
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant certifications or training are a plus
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are advantageous but not mandatory
