Location - This role is in-person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.

- Support institutional Culture of Care and health, safety and environment initiatives.

Conduct respirator fit testing (quantitative & qualitative).

Support biosafety cabinet testing and laboratory closeouts.

Communicate with HSE and U of A faculty, staff and students as directed.

Assist with documentation and maintenance of files and databases including, but not limited to chemical inventory, laboratory registration, amendments and others as required.

Currently enrolled in, or having completed, a bachelor's degree in science or technology.

Ability to work both at the direction of senior team members and independently with minimal supervision.

Adaptable, agile, and technologically savvy; experience with Google applications and ability to learn.

Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.

Ability to demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and diplomacy.
