Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and providing an excellent dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes with an industrial machine and by hand (dining room china and restaurant-kitchen equipment).
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace at all times, following health and safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with back-of-house and front-of-house staff.
- Support kitchen staff during peak hours by providing timely assistance with cleaning and organizing tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant is required.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
- Experience working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 1+ years of dishwashing experience in a high-volume restaurant is required.
- Available to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work standing for 8 to 10-hour shifts.
- Consistent transportation to work, within a 20km radius.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have completed secondary school.
Compensation:
- $19-20 hourly, with opportunity for raises based on performance and experience.
- One free meal and coffee every shift.
