Curbside Foods is seeking a motivated, experienced, and dependable Food Truck Lead to help manage daily operations during our busy event season. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leadership, customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Position: Food Truck Lead / ManagerTerm: Full-Time Seasonal (June – November)Location: Various events throughout Hamilton
Key Requirements:
✔ Valid G Driver’s License (required)✔ Minimum 2 years experience in a fast-paced food service environment✔ Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred✔ Strong organizational and communication skills✔ Ability to lead and motivate a team under pressure✔ Excellent customer service skills✔ Reliable, punctual, and professional
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 2 staff members during daily operations
- Ensure food is prepared and served quickly, accurately, and safely
- Delegate tasks and maintain workflow during busy service periods
- Train and mentor new team members
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs
- Ensure all food safety, cleanliness, and company standards are followed
- Represent Curbside Foods professionally at corporate events, festivals, and private functions
- Work directly with ownership to ensure successful event execution
Daily Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate the food truck
- Open and close the truck each day
- Handle customer orders and cash transactions
- Prepare and serve menu items
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Assist with loading, unloading, and event setup
