Bronte Pet Services is a professional, respected pet services company operating in Vancouver for 15 years. We provide one-on-one dog walks, cat visits, and overnight care.
We are currently hiring for a part-time dog walker for the areas of Mount Pleasant and/or Commercial Drive.
We are looking for a responsible, active individual who would like to spend their day outdoors with four-legged friends. Our ideal candidate would be familiar with positive reinforcement training and have an interest in continued learning about dog behaviour.
Peak working hours would be Monday - Friday between 10am - 2pm. There is flexibility for the right candidate. There is also potential for this position to grow into a full-time role in the Fall.
Requirements
--Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds.
--Comfortable managing behaviour issues such as pulling on leash, leash reactivity, and prey drive/reactivity to other animals. Extensive training is provided.
--Able to travel around our service area quickly and efficiently. Car, bike, scooter are all great options.
--Looking for long term, consistent, part-time work during the workday.
We are fully insured and pride ourselves on our high standard of care. We are licensed, insured, and provide WorkSafe coverage and liability insurance coverage for our team members.
Walkers will be asked to provide references, pass a Criminal Record Check, undergo paid training, and obtain Canine First Aid certification if they do not already have it.
