Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Lot Maintenance Attendant to help maintain clean, safe, and professional-looking parking lots and outdoor commercial properties. This is a part-time position (2–3 days per week) with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate.
The ideal applicant enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and can work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine litter and garbage removal from parking lots and surrounding areas.
- Remove graffiti from buildings, signs, and other surfaces using approved cleaning methods.
- Clean curbs, sidewalks, and other hard surfaces to maintain a professional appearance.
- Ensure properties remain free of debris, garbage, and other hazards.
- Empty waste receptacles and dispose of collected garbage appropriately.
- Conduct routine inspections of assigned properties and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain company equipment, tools, and work vehicles in a clean and organized condition.
- Complete assigned routes efficiently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence is required.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to walk for extended periods and perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining clean, safe properties.
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, janitorial services, or property maintenance is an asset but not required.
