Position Summary
As a Cashier & Front Line Team Member, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while supporting daily restaurant operations. This role involves greeting customers, taking orders, preparing food and backups, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You’ll be an important part of creating a positive experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and handle cash and electronic payments
- Explain menu items and help guests customize their orders
- Prepare and assemble poke bowls and nori sushi burritos consistently and efficiently
- Perform prep work and assist with back-of-house tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the front line, dining area, and workstations
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Work as part of a team and manage multiple tasks during busy periods
Qualifications
- Positive attitude with strong communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Previous restaurant & cashier experience preferred (1 year required)
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, full days and holidays
- Food Handler Certification is an asset
