Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers, highlighting benefits and technical specifications
- Engage in upselling by recommending additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and receipts
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure the sales floor is clean and inviting
- Manage inventory levels and assist with merchandising efforts to optimize product placement
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Utilize strong communication skills to inform customers about promotions, new products, and store policies
- Handle cashiering duties efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations
- Demonstrate effective time management to balance multiple customer interactions during busy periods
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or scheduling appointments
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse customers effectively
- Bilingual abilities are a plus; fluency in English is required
- Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling best practices
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and technical sales is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining displays and inventory
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while providing outstanding customer service
