We currently have a full-time position available for a Service Manager at our Dartmouth location.
The Service Manager oversees all aspects of the Service Department including staff, repairs, customer interactions, training, creating quotes, and finalizing work orders. Works well with and supports the Service team to achieve customer satisfaction, increase revenue, and create long-term service goals in line with the Company's vision and values.
Responsibilities and requirements:
Effectively manages the Service Department to achieve objectives
Offer exemplary customer service; proactively identify and address concerns/needs
Listen to understand and communicate effectively with both customers and employees by presenting information in an accurate and understandable manner
Assume responsibility for all aspects of work including quality, timeliness, and results
Oversee the Service Writer/Advisor and Estimator
Establish priorities to ensure services are delivered to customers as promised
Handle customer complaints, employee conflicts, and concerns, hiring of new staff as well as the daily operational issues in a fair and consistent manner
Effectively manage employee productivity
Understand, follow, and communicate all current and newly-written company policies
Complete administrative paperwork duties including work orders and evaluations
Delegate and direct service tasks; monitor the progress of all current and pending jobs
Work collaboratively across departments and provide support to other locations as needed
Qualifications:
Licensed Heavy truck/Trailer Technician
A dynamic leader with a proven track record in customer service
Positive outlook and the ability to excel in a team environment
Strong multitasking and decision-making skills
Ability to work well under pressure and manage stressful situations with ease
Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret work orders
Above average organizational and problem-solving skills
The ability to manage and coach staff in a fast-paced production driven department.

9-hour shift
Monday to Friday
