Apex Distribution Inc. is seeking a Valve Technician – Field / Shop Services based out of the Grande Prairie, AB Valve Services branch. Duties will include
- API VALVE / PRV / PSV experience an asset
- Field and shop work
- On-call rotation
- Pressurized equipment servicing
- Cross-training and inter-branch support is expected
- Maintain service units, including tools and spare component requirement
- Daily completion of field related records (JSAs, driver's logs, etc.)
- Create and modify daily field tickets
- Customer service
- Perform service tool inventory and service truck inventories as required
- Conduct repairs for service and fleet requirements
- Ensure all equipment is suitable for intended use and application
- Ensure all company equipment and property is maintained to company expectations
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental standards and regulations
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Pass Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol testing
- Valid class 5 license and drivers abstract
- First Aid
- H2S
- CSO
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Reliable, motivated, and personable
- Willingness to learn new tasks and processes
- Strong attention to safety, detail, and quality
