Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity in the manufacturing industry. This role supports the production of high-quality custom furniture for leading hospitality environments, working closely with internal production teams, design, purchasing, shipping, and external clients to keep projects moving from concept through delivery.
The Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed on time, aligned with customer expectations, and managed with a strong focus on profitability, communication, and production flow. This position offers hands-on exposure to multiple departments, including woodshop, upholstery, sewing, shipping, assembly, foam, and pillows. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily client communication and internal project coordination in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Schedule and monitor work across woodshop, upholstery, sewing, shipping, assembly, foam, and pillows departments to support on-time completion.
- Conduct multiple daily floor rounds to assess productivity, identify issues, and keep projects moving according to schedule.
- Coordinate with purchasing, design, shipping, and production teams to ensure work orders, approvals, timelines, and shipping plans are aligned.
- Track project progress, set deadlines, follow up with stakeholders, and ensure all parties remain on plan from project launch through delivery.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and support continued company growth.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, one shift.
- Location: Maple/Concord
