We’re Hiring: Caribbean Pastry Chef (Jamaican Patties & Desserts).
We are a Toronto-based catering company seeking an experienced Caribbean Pastry Chef who specializes in authentic Jamaican baked goods.
This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience making Jamaican patties from scratch and is confident preparing traditional desserts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake authentic Jamaican patties (beef, chicken, vegetable, etc.)
- Create traditional Jamaican desserts (e.g., gizzada, toto, rum cake, coconut drops)
- Maintain consistency in quality, flavour, and presentation
- Support batch production for catering and events
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Jamaican/Caribbean baking
- Strong knowledge of patty dough and filling preparation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and consistency
Position Details:
- Location: Toronto
- Flexible arrangement (part-time, full-time, or contract)

Pay: $17.26-$24.43 per hour
