in our Calgary office, as a:
Packaging Operator

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Packaging Operator.
Responsibilities:
· Operate packaging machine, ensuring the quality of packaged products are up to standards
· Perform basic machine maintenance and repairs to ensure efficient operation
· Stop or reset machine when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams and report malfunctions to a supervisor
· Troubleshoot issues with machinery to identify the cause
· Remove finished packaged items from machine and stack packaged items in storage areas or delivery pallets
· Handle/discard waste and rejected packages in a safe manner
· Stock and sort product for packaging or filling machine operation, replenish supplies such as plastic sheets, boxes and labels
· Maintain a clean and orderly work area by ensuring floors are clean and organized appropriately
Qualifications:
· Must be Mechanically inclined
· Experience in working with Tools
· Effectively Diagnosis Potential Mechanical Issues
· Experience with any packaging machinery desirable but no required
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to multitask and delegate to team delegates
· Ability to direct and follow up with employees
· Utilizing production calendars to complete forecasting
· Able to lift up to 50 lbs
· Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude
· Must have strong organizational skill and the ability articulate desired outcomes
· Mathematical skills
