Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Fuel Delivery Driver to join our team on a seasonal basis from May 1 to November 30. This role involves safely transporting fuel and related products to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and a commitment to customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver fuel and related products to designated locations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Follow all safety protocols related to handling hazardous materials and fuel transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a background in freight or fuel delivery.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to hazardous materials handling.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads up to 80 lbs, operate heavy machinery, and perform manual tasks as required. This role is essential for maintaining efficient fuel supply operations while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
