La garderie et pouponnière CSU est une garderie située au cœur du centre-ville de Montréal facilement accessible en transport en commun. Notre garderie, accueillant jusqu'à 52 enfants, offre aux familles étudiantes de l'Université Concordia un service de garde de qualité à but non lucratif. La mission de la CSU est d'offrir un milieu de vie sécuritaire et éducatif qui favorise le développement global de l'enfant en lui permettant de développer toutes les dimensions de sa personne, notamment les dimensions affectif, social, moral et cognitif, du langage, physique et moteur. Nous sommes présentement à la recherche d'un(e) éducateur(trice) pour se joindre à notre merveilleuse équipe.
SOMMAIRE DU POSTE ET RESPONSABILITÉS
L'éducatrice assure les soins appropriés et joue un rôle éducatif et social auprès des enfants conformément aux normes du ministère de la Famille et à la philosophie, aux politiques et aux directives de la CSU. L'éducateur sera chargé d'encadrer et d'accompagner un groupe d'enfants, et chacun d'entre eux, dans un contexte éducatif assurant leur développement global et leur épanouissement, selon le programme éducatif mis en place. À ce titre, leurs tâches et fonctions, qui peuvent changer de temps en temps, comprennent, sans s'y limiter :
✔ Assurer le bien-être constant et la sécurité de tous les enfants;
✔ Créer et animer des activités en fonction du programme éducatif en place, tout en l'adaptant selon les besoins, les caractéristiques et les intérêts de chaque tranche d'âge ;
✔ Collaborer au bon fonctionnement général de la garderie et pouponnière;
✔ Communiquer et entretenir de bonnes relations avec ses collègues la direction, et les parents.
✔ Respecter l'éthique de la profession ;
EXIGENCES DU POSTE
〰 Expérience dans un poste d'éducateur ou similaire;
〰 Bonne maîtrise des langues anglaise et française : tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit ;
〰 Bonne capacité à travailler en équipe;
〰 Autorisations et permis de travail au Québec et au Canada.
〰 Cours valide de RCR et de premiers secours adapté à la petite enfance
〰 Vérification des antécédents de police valide

The CSU daycare and nursery is a daycare located in the heart of downtown Montreal easily accessible via public transit. Our center, welcoming up to 52 children, provides student families of Concordia University with a high-quality, not for profit daycare service. The mission of the CSU daycare and nursery is to offer a safe and educational living environment that promotes the overall development of the child by allowing them to develop all the dimensions of their person, particularly on the emotional, social, moral and cognitive levels, language, physics and motor. We are currently looking for an educator to join our wonderful team.
POSITION SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The educator provides the appropriate care and plays an educational and social role to the children in conformity with the standards of the Ministère de la Famille and the philosophy, policies and directives of the CSU daycare and nursery. The educator will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a group of children, and each one of them, in an educational context ensuring their global development and their fulfillment, according to the education program put in place. As such, their tasks and duties, as they may change from time to time, include, without limitation:
✔ Ensure the constant well-being and the security of all children in their care;
✔ Create and drive activities based on the educational program in place, while adapting it according to the needs, characteristics and interests of each group of age;
✔ Collaborate to the good general operation of the daycare and nursery;
✔ Communicate and maintain good relations with her coworkers the management, and parents.
✔ Respect the ethic of the profession;
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
〰 Experience in an educator or similar position;
〰 Good command of the English and French languages: both spoken and written;
〰 Good ability to work in a team;
〰 Authorizations and permits to work in Quebec and Canada.
〰 Valid CPR and first aid course adapted to early childhood
〰 Valid police background check
