Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays
- Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and merchandising strategies
- Handle cash, process payments accurately, and perform cashiering duties with attention to detail
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving concerns promptly
- Assist with phone inquiries, providing information about products or store hours using proper phone etiquette
- Support team members in maintaining a clean and organized sales floor
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience preferred,
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management
- Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to upsell products effectively while respecting customer preferences
- Knowledge of retail math principles for accurate cash handling and sales reporting
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
