We specialize in designing and building cutting-edge liquid manure handling equipment, serving farmers with dependable and efficient solutions. As a Purchasing Specialist, you’ll ensure we source the highest-quality materials and components to maintain our industry-leading standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure materials, components, and supplies necessary for manufacturing operations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery terms.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment and avoid production delays.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and management teams to align purchasing strategies with project timelines.
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Process purchase orders, maintain accurate records, and track delivery schedules.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in procurement or purchasing (experience in the agriculture or manufacturing industry is a strong asset).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency with accounting software (experience with Quickbooks is an asset)
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment or manufacturing processes is a plus.
