On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an IT Security Analyst - Enterprise Proxy Services (Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)) for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
IT Security Analyst - Enterprise Proxy Services (Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)) - Job Description:
The IT Security Analyst will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing enterprise proxy services, focusing on Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) or equivalent technologies. The role involves ensuring secure internet access for the bank’s global workforce across 35 countries, supporting over 100,000 users and 5,000 applications.
IT Security Analyst - Enterprise Proxy Services (Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)) - Responsibilities:
- Manage and update proxy security policies across global environments.
- Review, analyze, and implement URL filtering rules and access controls.
- Troubleshoot user access issues, including scenario-based investigations.
- Work closely with business units to understand regional compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with a team of proxy specialists to support daily operational needs.
- Participate in security reviews, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support onboarding, configuration, and optimization of Zscaler or equivalent proxy platforms.
IT Security Analyst - Enterprise Proxy Services (Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)) - Mandatory Skills:
- 10+ years in IT, including 6+ years in security-focused roles supporting proxy technologies.
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise proxy services (Zscaler preferred).
- Proven experience writing and maintaining proxy security policies in large organizations.
- Strong foundational knowledge of proxy architectures, URL filtering technologies, and web security controls.
- 1+ years’ experience with strong networking knowledge for troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of web security attacks and secure proxy configurations.
IT Security Analyst - Enterprise Proxy Services (Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience supporting Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) specifically.
- Experience in financial institutions or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of regional compliance requirements across multiple geographies.
- Experience with enterprise-scale change management processes.
IT Security Analyst - Enterprise Proxy Services (Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)) – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract with a total duration of 18 months.
