Job Summary Philmart is seeking : a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations within our growing multi-store establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive store management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional sales and customer service. This role involves opening and closing the store maintaining a welcoming environment for guests, and ensuring that store standards are met on a daily basis. The AssistantManager will play a key role in fostering a positive team culture and ensuring operational excellence across all facets corporate setting.
Duties
- Lead and supervise staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Manage daily operations, including POS transactions using Micros POS systems, cash handling, and ensuring efficient service flow.
- Cover shifts when staff is unable to come to their scheduled shift with short notice
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- In this role in a "retail store" operation you will have to be available to work a minimum of two weekends a month and two late night shifts a month.
- Supervise serving staff during shifts to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in a retail store operation.
- Extensive background within this industry and a commitment to excellent customer service
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining professionalism.
