Position Summary
We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Executive with a strong background in 3PL transportation sales. This individual will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring an existing book of business and be able to contribute immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new sales leads through inside sales efforts, networking, and cold calling as part of a coordinated sales strategy
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while expanding business opportunities within current accounts
- Identify, pursue, and secure new customers to drive revenue growth
- Create and execute sales strategies by gathering market intelligence, analyzing opportunities, and documenting sales processes
- Prepare and deliver professional presentations to prospective clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new accounts
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of direct sales experience within 3PL transportation
- Proven track record of generating revenue and closing deals
- Existing book of business is required
- Ability to ramp up quickly and operate independently with minimal training
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $70,000 – $75,000 per year
- Competitive commission structure (uncapped earning potential)
Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday standard business hours
- Flexibility required, including availability on weekends to support clients and business opportunities when needed
Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
