As we continue to expand across Canada, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Price Administrator / Inventory Specialist to support our Ontario operations and help establish standardized pricing, inventory, and rebate processes across the company.

Position Summary
The Price Administrator / Inventory Specialist will be responsible for maintaining customer pricing, inventory data, costing information, rebate programs, and related administrative functions. Initially focused on supporting Ontario operations, the role will expand to support locations across Canada as processes become standardized.
The successful candidate will work closely with sales, purchasing, operations, finance, and vendor partners to ensure accurate pricing, inventory integrity, and rebate management.
Key ResponsibilitiesPricing Administration
- Maintain customer-specific pricing agreements and selling prices.
- Set up and maintain customer jobs and project pricing.
- Process and maintain customer rebate programs.
- Update and maintain vendor price changes.
- Ensure pricing accuracy throughout company systems.
- Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies.
Inventory & Product Management
- Create and maintain inventory item records.
- Manage product code setup and maintenance.
- Update standard costs and purchasing information.
- Monitor inventory costing and average cost accuracy.
- Maintain data integrity within ERP systems.
Rebate & Vendor Program Administration
- Set up and maintain vendor rebate programs.
- Process and reconcile customer and vendor rebates.
- Support month-end rebate reconciliations.
- Monitor rebate performance and accuracy.
Analysis & Reporting
- Review costing and margin performance.
- Identify pricing, costing, and margin discrepancies.
- Assist with profitability and pricing analysis.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Ontario-Specific Administrative Functions
- Process supplier invoices and perform three-way matching.
- Support customer order approval for invoicing.
- Assist with month-end rebate balancing and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with Corporate Services on accounting and administrative processes.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pricing administration, inventory management, purchasing, accounting, sales support, or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience in building materials, construction supply, distribution, or wholesale environments.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Understanding of inventory costing and rebate programs.
- Knowledge of pricing administration and margin management.
- Experience working with large product catalogs and customer-specific pricing structures.

Work Location: In person
