Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Manager

Shift - Days Mon - Fri 7am - 5pm
Job Description
This full-time role leads day-to-day manufacturing operations in a hi-tech, electronics-oriented environment, driving production performance, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You oversee production scheduling, resource planning, and shop performance to consistently meet production targets, delivery schedules, and quality standards, while fostering a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture.
Responsibilities

Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, delivery schedules, and quality standards are consistently achieved.

Plan, coordinate, and adjust production schedules based on workload, manpower, machine capacity, and delivery requirements.

Monitor job progress and overall shop performance, proactively identifying bottlenecks or delays and implementing corrective actions.

Use production tracking and ERP systems to monitor job status, labor utilization, and overall production performance.

Manage the manufacturing operation budget and drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or safety.

Contribute significantly to the development and execution of the company’s manufacturing strategic plan.

Collaborate closely with quality, engineering, management, and administrative support teams to align production priorities and resolve operational issues.

Lead, mentor, and develop shop personnel while maintaining a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.

Track production performance against targets, analyze root causes when goals are not met, and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Set clear expectations for team members and provide ongoing guidance to support performance, skills development, and career growth.

Ensure effective job preparation and assembly processes to support efficient production and on-time delivery.

Provide operational support across multiple manufacturing departments, coordinating resources and priorities as needed.
Job Requirements

Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related business discipline.

10+ years of operational experience leading more than 50+ direct and indirect staff across multiple manufacturing departments.

Excellent hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Lean Manufacturing Certification (Six Sigma).

Experience with production management, production supervision, and manufacturing operations.

Strong supervisory and management skills, with a proven ability to lead large teams in a manufacturing environment.

Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements, including cost control and financial performance monitoring.

Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.

Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with production scheduling and coordinating workload, manpower, and machine capacity.

Ability to use production tracking and ERP systems to monitor job status, labor, and production performance.
