Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance efficiently. Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and lubrication services on various vehicle makes and models
- Inspect and replace filters, fluids, and other essential vehicle components
- Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify potential issues
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
- Assist with additional maintenance or repair tasks as needed
- Promote additional services or products when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous dealership or mechanic experience preferred but not required; relevant automotive knowledge is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks accurately
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely (heavy lifting required) and stand for extended periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repairs is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Commitment to safety protocols and proper use of tools and equipment
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
