Job Overview
The Local Eatery & Bar is on the lookout for a skilled, personable Bartender to join our team. If you’ve got solid mixology chops, a great attitude, and love creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced setting, we’d love to meet you.
Please note that we are hiring for the upcoming Summer Season, with positions anticipated to start in late April or early May or earlier dependent on business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Greet guests with warmth and take drink orders promptly
- Mix and serve a variety of cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks to spec
- Keep the bar clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout your shift
- Check IDs to ensure responsible service
- Upsell food and drink specials with confidence and enthusiasm
- Handle cash and card payments accurately via our POS system
- Promote a safe, respectful environment and encourage responsible drinking
- Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to keep service smooth and efficient
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
What We’re Looking For
- Previous bartending experience in a busy bar or restaurant
- Solid knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and current drink trends
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
- Confident with multitasking and staying cool under pressure
- Comfortable with POS systems and basic cash handling
- ProServe is Required
